Ten years ago, we started with a mission – to be the most responsive and engaging insurance provider of insurance and risk management solutions. Today, we look back with pride and ahead with purpose.
| The Journey: From Humble Beginnings to Today
What began as a vision to create a more personalized, responsive approach to insurance became a reality in 2015 when two well-established agencies — Carlton Wright Insurance Agency and Commercial Insurance Services — joined to form HAWK Advisers, Inc. Though our name was new, our roots ran deep, representing over 75 years of combined experience and a legacy of trust, service, and community connection.
The name HAWK — derived from Hamilton and Wright Keystone — symbolizes our elevated perspective and our commitment to helping clients navigate their risks with clarity and confidence. Like the bird itself, we approach each relationship with a bird’s-eye view — seeing the bigger picture and guiding clients through the complex insurance landscape.
Now 10 years later, we’ve added reach beyond our local roots to serve clients across 42 states. In conjunction with our parent company HAWK Advisers, we also trade under the name SafePark USA, a specialty national insurance practice for Family Entertainment Centers, Social Houses, and much more. In 2024, we took another exciting step forward with the acquisition of Northeast Insurance Center, strengthening our capabilities in this growing niche.
Throughout our journey, we’ve stayed true to our core belief: that insurance should be about education, trust, and tailored support — not transactions.

From helping clients navigate COVID-19 disruptions with tailored risk management and responsive claims support at a time when certainty was scarce to guiding local business owners through complex policy updates during major regulatory changes and economic shifts, our milestones reflect our commitment to staying proactive, adaptive, and client-centered in the face of change.
With over 200 hours donated, $20,000+ contributed, and approximately 25 organizations served, our dedication has grown and excelled beyond the walls of our office. Giving back is not a box we check; it’s woven into the fabric of who we are.

The Roanoke community provides countless meaningful ways to connect, support, and make a difference.
